Základní info o Alex: Její celé jméno zní Alexandra Huntingdon Tydings, ale nejčastěji se ji říká Alex, Al, Liex, Lucy, Aeysha, nebo Angel. Narodila se 15. prosince ve Washington DC.Nyní ale žila v Los Angeles. V současné době se ale opět přestěhovala zpět do D.C. Má 5 sourozenců. Její první herecká příležitost se ji naskytla v 11 letech, kdy hrála studentku. Přivydělávala si také ale jako psí vodička, recepční, modelka, hosteska a také jako zpěvačka. Je vdaná za Bena Luzzatta, se kterým má dvě dcerky- Ruby a Emerson ( * 2006). Mezi její oblíbené knihy patří Svět podle Garpa, od Johna Irvinga nebo také kniha od českého autora Milana Kundery - Kniha smíchu a zapomnění. Mezi oblíbenou hudbu patří Blondie nebo Ella Fitzgerald Její oblíbené filmy jsou: Star Wars a Pomáda Oblíbená barva: červená Oblíbená zvířata: je velikou milovnicí zvířat, dokonce i plazů a pavouků.
